About DocRecap

What is DocRecap?

DocRecap is an ambient AI medical scribe and clinic operating system for clinics in the Middle East and North Africa. It listens to the visit as it happens, in Arabic dialects mixed with English medical terms, drafts a structured clinical note in Arabic and English for the doctor to review and sign, and then runs everything around the visit: patients, appointments, prescriptions, labs, WhatsApp messaging, a patient portal and billing.

What exactly we sell

A structured clinical note reviewed by the doctor, never a verbatim transcript. Every section of the note is produced in both Arabic and English.

Drug names and doses are where any speech recognition fails worst, so they are always flagged for the doctor's confirmation and never trusted automatically. DocRecap does not diagnose or prescribe on its own.

What the system includes

  • Visit recording, transcription and note structuring, with 18 specialty lenses.
  • Patient record, visit history, measurements and documents.
  • Appointments, self-booking from a link, a waiting room and a reception account with limited permissions.
  • Prescriptions and lab requests, and an inbox for lab results and reports with the doctor's reply.
  • WhatsApp messages in the clinic's name and a patient portal that opens from a link with no app and no account.
  • Invoices and expenses in the clinic's currency, with 19 regional currencies supported.
  • An installable web app and an iOS app.

Who it is for

Private clinics and small groups in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan and the wider Arab region, and doctors who write their own notes and want the visit's time back for the patient.

How we work with clinics

You can start on your own: create your clinic account and try three visits free, with no card. If you would rather we set it up with you, we onboard clinics personally too — a demo on a real visit, then the account is set up and the team is trained. Prices are in the clinic's local currency.

DocRecap is operated from Cairo, Egypt. Reach us on WhatsApp at the number in the footer, or by email.

Frequently asked questions

Is DocRecap an electronic medical record?

It is a clinic operating system that stores the patient's record, visits, prescriptions and documents, with an AI scribe on top. It does not currently integrate with government health-exchange platforms; notes and prescriptions can be exported as files.

Does it replace the doctor or the receptionist?

No. It drafts and organizes; the doctor reviews and decides, and reception uses its own account for the calendar, booking and payments.

Which languages does it support?

Arabic dialects (Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine and North African) and English in speech, and the note is written in both Arabic and English.
